Situated high atop the Kittatinny Mountain ridge, Catfish Pond offers visitors a scenic and rugged setting for paddling and wildlife viewing. The pond is part of the Appalachian Mountain Club's Mohican Outdoor Center which also offers camping and lots of trails for hiking. The launch is accessible from a narrow dirt road that only fits one car at a time so be sure to unload quickly and head back to the parking lot. The pond only allows non-motorized boating keeping the water calm and peaceful.
